Rennie Till | Keys 2 Drive Accredited Driving Instructor Perth
I started Southern Cross Driving School in 2009 and still enjoy it very much. I love having the opportunity to get up in the morning, knowing that there will be new challenges waiting and that I have the chance to help someone gain a skill that will change his/her life. I meet new people and I enjoy sharing in their success when they achieve the milestone of passing their driver’s test.
I am an accredited keys2drive Instructor and I pride myself on my professionalism, patience and reliability. In addition to holding a WA Motor Vehicle Driving Instructors Licence I also hold HR(heavy rigid) and R(open motorcycle) class licences. My vehicles are air-conditioned and dual control and also fully insured for all learner drivers. I also have police clearance and a working with children check. I provide both automatic and manual tuition.
The areas where I provide a service is the northern suburbs of Perth and I can book your test at the Mirrabooka, Joondalup, City West and Midland Test Centres. If necessary, I can even help you with tests at centres south of the river.
The Four Pillars Of The Southern Cross
You see, the Southern Cross is a symbol that holds special meaning to me, especially as a driving school instructor because the four pillars of the Southern Cross tells you exactly what I want to convey to those that I teach.
Did you know that the four pillars are, justice, prudence, temperance and fortitude?
Justice can also be described as a genuine respect for people. That is what driving is all about isn’t it? You get into a car and you have to have respect for yourself, those in the car with you, and those around you.
Prudence is to practice good judgement. Good judgement is often the difference between life and death, an accident or a safe arrival.
Temperance ties in with “don’t drink and drive.” Do I need to say more!
Fortitude is to show a strength of character. When you get into a car as the driver, your conduct behind the wheel shows your real self to others.
